Dr. McDuffie will be participating on a panel entitled, “”Developing global cybersecurity curricular standards” to be held on the 15th of June 2016 at the following event:

The George Washington University Institute for Information Infrastructure Protection (I3P), Intel, and the US National Science Foundation (NSF) invite you to attend the 2016 International Security Education Workshop (ISEW). The workshop will be held June 13-15, 2016 in Philadelphia, PA USA at the Sheraton Philadelphia Society Hill and will be co-located with the Colloquium for Information Systems Security Education (CISSE).

At the workshop, members of the global cybersecurity education community will collaborate to build upon ongoing security education programs and encourage the adoption, incorporation, and dissemination of security content into college curricula. The event will also explore broader dissemination of novel ideas and experiences. Most specifically, the 2016 workshop will focus heavily on the work of the ACM Joint Task Force on Cybersecurity Education (JTF – csec2017.org). Through panel discussions and working group sessions, we will engage our community of stakeholders in the development of curricular guidelines for cybersecurity educational programs.
